Before you call an electrician, check these 3 things:
1. Check if the outlet is controlled by a wall switch
2. Look for a tripped GFI outlet nearby and press the reset button
3. Check your breaker panel for a tripped breaker
If none of these work, it might be a loose wire or a bad outlet. Replacing an outlet costs about $2 and takes 15 minutes. Always turn off the breaker before working on electrical!
